Totes Meer versus Bodensee, hieß bei uns das Motto der letzen Woche. Während Sonja mit goisrael.de auf Blogtour in Israel unterwegs ist, hüte ich Haus und Hund und lasse es mir zuhause am Bodensee gutgehen. Dead Sea versus Lake Constance was our motto of the last week. While Sonja is with goisrael.de on blog tour in Israel I guard the house and the dog and relax at home at Lake Constance. Der hohe Salzgehalt des Seewassers im Toten Meer ermöglicht es im Wasser zu liegen ohne unterzugehen. Ein riesen Spaß.
Because of the high density of salt in the seawater swimming in the Dead Sea is similar to floating. A great fun.

Über dem Toten Meer thront die eistige jüdische Festung Masada. Hier haben die Juden gegen die römischen Besatzer gekämpft. Heute ist die Bergfestung UNESCO Weltkulturerbe und ein Symbol für die Freiheit Israels.
High above the Dead Sea there is the former Jewish fortress of Masada. There the Jews fought against the Romans. Today, the mountain fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of the freedom of Israel.
